Lithuania-based crypto payment processor CoinGate has partnered with the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) and the Bank for International Settlements for International Business Settlement (IBS). The company has developed a payment portal to support the use of more than 70 cryptocurrencies in Ukraine, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) Dogecoin (DOGE), and more. In addition, holders of crypto assets that have been directly accepted by the government can now also show support to Ukraine without having to sell their cryptocurrencies.
In response to the current situation in Russia and Ukraine, the National Bank of Ukraine opened a dedicated fundraising bank account to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Therefore, the company allows crypto users to donate over 70 cryptocurrencies directly to NBU bank accounts. Donated cryptocurrencies are collected by the company and converted into euros, approved, monitored, and sent to the NBU transparently.
This extension of cryptocurrencies makes it easier and more flexible to donate to various cryptocurrencies in Ukraine, making it more convenient for crypto users to support Ukraine.
