Investment app Robinhood has expanded its list of supported cryptocurrencies with four tokens: Solana, Shiba Inu, Polygon, and Compound. There are now 11 coins listed on Robinhood.
According to the article, the most common request from their crypto clients is for the platform to list more crypto assets, as well as the ability to send and receive tokens to and from external cryptocurrency wallets. Robinhood released its "crypto wallet" feature that enables users to send and receive cryptocurrency transactions, and the company is now adding new assets to its cryptocurrency offering.
Robinhood’s move has had a positive impact on all four newly listed crypto assets.
At the recent Bitcoin 2022 conference in Miami, Robinhood said they plan to add support for Bitcoin transactions via the Lightning Network. The Lightning Network is a Layer 2 solution that offloads the main Bitcoin blockchain and allows users to send BTC to each other faster and cheaper.
